About the Production Manager job

The purpose of your role will be to coaching and develop of the team, and establishment of strict operational protocols and attend regular key meetings and be involved in wider business planning.

Key tasks

• Shift and rota planning and wider team management.
• Make planned agreements for department headcount and labour budget.
• Work closely with Technical and other department heads as well as the MD with a structured monthly operations cycle.
• Create accurate reports of key production metrics.

About You

The successful candidate shall have a strong proven track record in a similar role & environment within an automated or semi-automated manufacturing environment as well as experience operations and NPD processes and excellence in food safety, traceability recording and other high-level working practices.

• Excellent numerical literacy. Demonstrable experience of productivity planning and management of strict cost controls. Strong leadership skills and an excellent team player, willing to be hands on. Ability to motivate and develop team members. Resilience, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
