As the business continues to grow, this role is to co-ordinate the regulatory and analytical inputs to operational projects which deliver introductions and changes to the business’s product portfolio. Reporting to the Director Scientific Affairs, the Project Co-ordinator provide a bridge between the internal teams and the outsourced provider, managing regulatory and analytical support for projects that span our international markets.
Key Accountabilities:
- Organising and implementing annual analytical surveillance testing plan
- Liaising with 3rd party provider on all regulatory review requests
- Managing workflow between internal marketing and projects teams and 3rd party provider
- Ensuring 3rd party provider has correct / complete information to carry out regulatory requests
- Create and/or provide guidance for ad-hoc project briefs for 3rd party provider
- Tracking turnaround times / results / costs / and reporting against KPIs
- Management of product certifications for new products (organic / kosher etc.)
- Prepare and provide technical specifications / documentation for customers
- Organising product shelf life studies with 3rd party provider
- Deal with ad-hoc consumer complaints
People Profile:
- To be qualified to degree level, preferably in a science related subject, such as Nutrition/Dietetics, Food Science/Technology or Chemistry.
- To have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and work to deadlines.
- The ability to positively challenge others and demonstrate initiative.
- Pro-active, starter-finisher work approach.
- A proactive approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge of product labelling regulations and/or food product contaminant and nutrition requirements an advantage.
- Experience of managing projects would be an advantage.
- Delivering technical support for successful projects, on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Challenge conventional thinking and find creative solutions
- Continuous improvement for adaptive, agile and efficient processes
- Learning the business – gaining a detailed understanding of products and processes
