Are you passionate about ensuring the quality and integrity of raw materials in the food industry? A leading company is seeking a dedicated Raw Material Officer to maintain high standards for safety, quality, legality, and authenticity.

In this role, you will be the key contact for suppliers, developing strong relationships and ensuring all raw materials and supply chains are approved through rigorous risk assessments and ongoing evaluations. You will manage the approved raw material list and live specifications database, ensuring all documentation meets due diligence requirements and complies with regulatory and third-party standards.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments for new materials, establishing intake acceptance criteria, maintaining analysis schedules, and overseeing raw material replacement assessments. You will handle day-to-day queries, provide data for audits, coordinate non-conformance investigations, and ensure packaging compliance.

Candidates should have relevant experience in a quality role within food manufacturing, detailed knowledge of raw materials and food manufacturing processes, and a solid understanding of food legislation and customer requirements. Proficiency with IT packages, including Windows 365 and ERP systems, is essential.
