2 Sisters Food Group are recruiting for an experienced, diligent, and creative Junior Process Development Manager to join our team at The Pizza Factory.

This Junior Process Development Manager role sits within our Meals division, where we live by our mantra of ‘Making Every Meal Moment Special’. You’ll be working alongside 650 colleagues across our sites in Nottingham producing over 40 different products to feed our nation, ranging from everyday margarita to our special woodfired pizzas.

About the Role:
Reporting into The Head of NPD and Process, the Junior Process Development Manager will be key in taking our exciting range or products through each stage of the Food Manufacturing process.
This is an opportunity to work with a key product for the company and support some of the most prestigious retailers in the country. As Junior Process Development Manager you will have the chance to make an immediate impact on the business and market by combining creativity and technical knowledge to improve our products and launch new ideas onto store shelves.
The role of Junior Process Development Manager will be instrumental in maintaining and developing the systems, processes, and food manufacturing capabilities of the Pizza Factory. Managing and co-ordinate necessary trials from engagement with initial product concept through to product launch and monitoring and improving factory manufacturing processes.
The position will also be expected to lead a team of two experienced Technologists and promote a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.
The Junior Process Development Manager will be central to our relationships with our clients. Ensuring food products are launched on time, delivering to high expectations and are compliant. Creating an opportunity to be at the forefront of our customer interactions and offering amazing exposure.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background of success within Process Development. A history of working within the chilled food sector supporting clients such as Marks and Spencer and ASDA would be a real benefit, alongside an academic background in Food Science with professional accreditation such as Food Safety Level 3 or HACCP.
Adaptability and communication will be key as in this role, and we are therefore seeking candidates with a passion for developing their skills, managing busy workloads, and taking a hands-on approach to developing relationships with other departments on site.
You will also be able to demonstrate a history of leading and supporting junior team members.
