Our client based in London are searching for a senior engineer who will be the sole engineering support to the production and operations team carrying out preventative maintenance across the production machinery and site facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a B Corp business that is consistently expanding and improving whilst having involvement within their growth.

Job Role
To plan and carry out preventative maintenance ensuring efficiency and the longevity of the industrial machinery and site facilities.
Responsibilities
• To schedule and carry out preventive maintenance activities
• To service, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, processing, and packaging machines, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency to meet production demands.
• To identify and diagnose issues, with a root cause mindset, with industrial machines including mechanical, electrical, and control system problems.
• Determine the appropriate course of action to resolve issues promptly – taking
• ownership and responsibility for follow-up actions.
• To effectively repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems within production machines to minimise downtime and production disruptions. Collaborate with external service providers if necessary.
• To identify opportunities for equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• To manage equipment stock to ensure essential components are on-site. Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the ready supply of components at competitive prices
We are looking for candidates who are electrical biased with some mechanical knowledge and experience. This candidate will have good analytical and diagnostic skills and hands on experience within a food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
