Warehouse/Stores Supervisor

Mother Riley's Bakery is a leading manufacturer of Premium Bakery and Snack foods, producing a wide variety of products for leading brands and manufacturers, sold in both the Retail and Foodservice sectors.

We require a Warehouse/Stores to join our Production team; you should be a self-motivated, enthusiastic person who is able to operate in a team striving for continuous improvement in product quality, operations and efficiency.

Reporting to the Production Manager you will manage warehouse/stores resources ensuring the smooth transfer and return of raw materials and packaging in line with Production Plans, as well as handling inbound and outbound deliveries of raw materials, packaging and finished goods in line with delivery schedules and customer requirements.

You will also assist in  customer technical visits and BRC audits and be familiar with HACCP and Internal Auditing principles.

This position also encompasses responsibilities for Health & Safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse/stores supporting the Production Manager & Technical Manager in prioritising site maintenance/hygiene requirements.

You will also be responsible for managing recruitment for warehouse/stores personnel and undertaking Operator performance reviews as required.

Ideally, you will have experience of a supervisory role in a food production environment and the ability to lead and motivate a small team, be approachable, diligent and the ability to be a good communicator with a can do attitude to create and maintain a positive morale and pleasant working environment across the site.

It would also be beneficial to have good IT and numeracy skills.
