Quality Auditor / Fresh Produce / Lincs



Are you looking for a Monday - Friday QA - backshift role?, if so this is the role for you.

Working for one of the largest growers of fresh cut and living pot herbs in the UK. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join our team and ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.



Job Description:



As a Quality Auditor, you will:
  • Monitor Production: Audit the product's journey through production, ensuring paperwork conformance.
  • Conduct Audits: Perform Internal, GMP, and Quality audits to maintain standards.
  • Assess Raw Materials: Quality assess incoming raw materials and communicate results via our Rubicon system.
  • Check Labels and Packaging: Ensure accuracy in codes, dates, labels, sleeves, and packaging, and address any discrepancies.
  • Daily Quality Checks: Perform daily quality stock checks and address issues with Line Leaders and Managers.
  • Glass and Brittle Plastic Checks: Conduct weekly checks.
  • Traceability Exercises: Carry out monthly traceability and mass balance exercises
  • Shelf Life Monitoring: Monitor product shelf life and document trials according to customer specifications.


Person Specification:



We are looking for someone who:
  • Team Player: Works well within a small QA team and can manage good working relationships.
  • Independent Worker: Comfortable working alone as the sole QA on site.
  • Effective Communicator: Polite, organized, thorough, and determined.
  • Experienced: Has experience in a similar QC or QA role within fresh produce
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using emails, Excel, and Word.
  • Licensed Driver: Holds a full driving licence.
  • Educated: Possesses a good basic education, with minimum G.C.S.E in English and Maths.
