About Our Client



Our client is a leading packer of fresh produce serving the retailer and foodservice sectors. They are looking for a strong Product Manager to be based in Kent, acting as the eyes and ears for the business on the shop floor.

About the Job



As Product Manager, you will be the roving eyes and ears of the business, monitoring fruit arrivals, suggesting "Plan of Actions" for any fruit with issues, and collating QC reports to send to growers along with comments and suggestions. You will liaise with the commercial team on all aspects of fruit condition, rotation, and planning, and work with 3rd party service providers on the same.

The Ideal Candidate

• Currently a Product Manager within a fresh produce business with extensive experience in top fruit.
• Proven track record of driving quality standards forward and improving processes.
• Strong ability to build good working relationships both internally and externally.
• Willingness to travel to packhouses in the UK and abroad, with the capability to undertake audits.

This position is based in Kent.
