As far as opportunities go, this is about as rare and exciting as they come.

This is an opportunity to join a world-class manufacturing business who are going through one of the largest £multi-million investments in their last 50 years.

Not only has it transformed the way they do things, but it has also provided the opportunity for you to have an impact and create a long-lasting legacy.

You will take on a highly automated food manufacturing plant and guide them through the transformation, manage any teething issues and support the team in their development. Given the changes that have happened, you will have a focus on driving improvements – increasing OEE and reducing costs (waste, stock adjustments, excessive stock disposal etc).

Despite being in a heavily automated plant, you will still have a team of c.100 people, who require your support. Given the level of automation, it’s no surprise that you will be responsible for both Production and Engineering teams whilst being involved in the wider decisions as part of the SLT.

Background

For this one you will need a background in high speed/volume manufacturing, ideally food/beverages but we could potentially consider Pharma/Chemical. You will need to have experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or Factory Manager with some form of qualification/background in engineering.
