Technologist

Reed Food and FMCG are currently recruiting for a Quality Technologist to join a Food Manufacturing Business in Newry.

This is a great role in which you will be a key member of the quality team, conducting audits, dealing with suppliers and obtaining new raw material specifications. A brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking to add to their skillset with Food & FMCG.



Job Title: Quality Technologist

Location: Newry, Northern Ireland

Pay: £30,000 Per Annum



Responsibilities:

Obtaining new raw material specifications from raw material suppliers.

Ensuring approved supplier information is kept up to date.

Completion of GMP Audits.

Member of the Internal Auditing Team: Completing internal audits as per the internal audit program and where non-conformance is identified ensure effective communication and corrective actions are agreed.

Support the management of third party (BRC) and customer audits

Member of the Food Safety and Quality Culture Team: Responsible for ensuring continual development.



Person Specification

Experience in supporting BRC Audits

HACCP & Food Safety

Two years' experience in the Food Industry.

Good communication skills, strong team player.
