Are you ready to take the next step in your technical management career? Our esteemed client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Technical Manager to join their central Technical function. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role within a dynamic technical team.

Position: Assistant Technical Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £35,000-£45,000


Key Responsibilities:

-Ensure site compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain the site in an audit-ready state at all times.
-Oversee the compliance of new and existing raw materials.
-Actively participate in both internal and external audits.
-Engage with suppliers to ensure alignment with current specifications.
-Collaborate closely with technical and production teams on site to ensure seamless operations.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

-Proven experience in a technical function role.
-In-depth knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards.
-Hands-on experience with internal and external audits.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Desired Skills:

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Adaptability to work with various product types.
