A multi-national food manufacturer is looking for a Technical Services Manager for their site based in West Yorkshire.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the Technical Services team, ensuring compliance to customer requirements.  

Reporting to the Head of Technical, responsibilities for the role will include:

• Management of Technical Services team members’ day to day activities and completing inductions, reviews and refresher training. Completing team coaching and ensuring progressive learning
• Ensuring Internal Audits are completed in a timely manner and non-conformances are actioned
• Supplier, services, third party manufacturing & raw material approval management 
• Management of Supplier and Customer Specifications 
• Raw Material risk assessment and product integrity / vulnerability review and controls
• Ensuring customers’ Artwork Approval process is adhered to
• Management of Quality Systems 
• The management of pest control, ensuring issues are raised and dealt with
• Ensuring customer enquiries around raw materials issues / alerts are dealt with effectively 

Essential / Desirable skills include:

• Must have proven track record of leading people/managing a team 
• Previous experience of Chilled Food Manufacturing within the Technical function
• Good working knowledge of BRC and customer requirements
• Experience with retailers

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The salary is £45k - £50k per annum plus an excellent benefits package.
