Interim Process Technologist

The Company

This growing business have an amazing portfolio of premium products and work with a diverse range of customers that include retailers, food service, QSR and coffee shops. They are now looking for a knowledgeable Interim Process Technologist to join the team on a 3-Month FTC.

The Role

This role will see you managing the transition of new products from kitchen approval to production and launch. Your key responsibilities will include:

·                    Management of the critical path to ensure projects are successfully completed in line with agreed timescales and budgets whilst ensuring customer specifications are adhered to throughout the product lifecycle.

·                    Co-ordinating and participating in process, scale-up and pre-launch trials for all EPD/ NPD, compiling reports and providing feedback on costs and yield.

·                    Working closely with NPD, Quality and Technical teams to organise and attend shelf life and organoleptic tests to guarantee the highest levels of product quality and taste.

·                    Supporting NPD and Production teams on continuous improvement projects including line efficiency, product quality and cost.

The Person

Suit a confident and experienced Process Technologist or Manager with amazing attention to detail, the drive to deliver projects and in-depth experience within the food industry. You’ll have an analytical and practical approach to tasks coupled with the desire to achieve results and drive continuous improvements.

You must be able to take responsibility for carrying out trials and work to a critical path as well as a sound knowledge of HACCP. You must also have great attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage simultaneous projects to ensure successful launches.
