We are working exclusively with an international, people centric ingredients manufacturer in the search for a dedicated Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead their engineering team in Suffolk. The Maintenance Engineering Manager they are searching for will lead, develop, and motivate the engineering team, ensuring efficient plant operations and collaborating with plant management to drive maintenance and best practices. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead CAPEX projects, providing significant scope to drive change and make a substantial impact on the business.

The experience you need will be:

  • A background in manufacturing, ideally within fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing businesses
  • Proven experience in managing and motivating engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of planned maintenance and proficiency in using PPM systems
  • Ideally, involvement in CAPEX and improvement projects


Some of the key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineering Manager include:

  • Leading, developing and motivating the engineering team to adopt best practice ways of working, while also deputising for the Site Engineering Manager
  • Overseeing budget proposals and collaborating with the business on budget vs actual spend
  • Supporting modifications and continuous improvement initiatives to maintenance procedures, analysing outcomes and ensuring legal compliance on site
  • Collaborating with production to prioritise interventions, drive maintenance best practise whilst and overseeing preventative maintenance initiatives
  • Involvement in capital projects and even leading specific asset projects


They are offering the successful candidate up to £65,000 + bonus and great benefits!
