About the Role:

As a Production Shift Manager, you will be critical in ensuring our production lines run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for leading a team of production personnel, overseeing daily operations, and achieving key performance targets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards (over a 3-shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am).
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth production flow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Identify and address production issues promptly, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency.
• Monitor production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Train and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise effectively with other departments like maintenance and quality control.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a production environment (food manufacturing a plus).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and empower a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on achieving results and targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
