The Role

• Own the product development from inception to launch
• Ensure standards are met
• Schedule and manage production trials
• Build strong relationships with NPD, production and stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance for continuous improvement
• Trial new equipment
• Support initial production runs, troubleshooting and ensuring costing aligns with efficiency

The ideal product technologist will have:

• Educated to degree level in a food or science related subject
• Good IT Skills
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with food manufacturing
• Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Manages workload with efficiency and organisation
• Shows initiative
• Excellent communication & attention to detail
