Job Details
In addition a leader in their market in the food industry and guess what…they are looking for their next member of the team.
You'll be a detail-oriented and experienced Supplier Quality Technologist a key member of the Food Safety and Quality team.
This pivotal role involves ensuring technical and food safety compliance, conducting supplier audits, collaborating with product development teams, and managing ingredient claims and product risk assessments.
You'll will play a critical role in maintaining their high standards and ensuring the integrity of their supply chain.
Your key responsibility will include:
* Technical and Food Safety Compliance - Ensuing all suppliers meet their stringent technical and food safety standards.
* Supplier Auditing and Visit - Conducting audits and visits to suppliers to verify compliance with regulations and quality standards.
* Collaboration with New Product Development Teams - Work closely with the NPD teams to ensure new products meet all technical and safety requirements.
* Claims and Ingredients Management - Assist with the verification and validation of product claims and manage ingredient specifications.
* Product Risk Assessments - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing products to ensure their safety and compliance.
* Setting KPIs for Suppliers - Develop and implement key performance indicators to monitor and improve supplier performance.
* Complaints and Investigations - Identify, investigate, and resolve quality and safety complaints in a timely and effective manner.
What else we'll be looking for form you….
Food or Science relate degree / knowledge of HACCP/TACCP/VACCP
Experience in food safety, quality assurance, technical account or supplier management
Lead Auditor certified or proven experience in supplier auditing and compliance
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
