Job Details
We're on the hunt for a proficient Technical Assistant to be the new addition to this team in the East Midlands. If you're ready to jump into a role with loads of opportunity for growth and experience, then this role will be for you.
Role: Technical Assistant
Pay: £30-35k
Hours: Sociable hours - no weekends or nights!
What You'll Need:
* HACCP Level 3: You know your stuff when it comes to food safety.
* Experience: Strong background in technical roles within the food industry.
* Great communication skills to work alongside other teams.
* Eligibility: Must be able to work in the UK permanently.
* Good knowledge of HACCP, procedures and QMS.

What to expect in this role:
* Quality Control: Monitor and ensure the quality of products throughout the manufacturing process.
* Compliance: Ensure all products meet legal standards and industry regulations, including HACCP, BRC, and other relevant certifications.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all quality control tests, inspections, and audits.
* HACCP Management: Implement and manage HACCP plans, conduct hazard analysis, and ensure critical control points are monitored.
* Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve any quality issues or customer complaints.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance product quality and efficiency.
* Reporting: Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
