About the Grocery Trading Assistant job
The purpose of your role will be to provide accurate and timely administration support to the Grocery Trading team, work closely with buyers, and ensure specific Trading activities & projects are delivered to the business promptly.
Key tasks
- Liaising with suppliers for latest turnover figures to support with forecasting and understanding latest position on performance. Input confirmed numbers into budget sheet, as well as inputting relevant supplier information changes into companies' software.
- Assist the team in producing docs for category reviews and request information when required. Liaising with Trading support to create spreadsheets with supplier promotional submissions, compiling reports, chase suppliers for outstanding deliveries etc.
- Collect and collate forecasts from RDCs (Regional Distribution Centres) where needed and support completion of data and benchmarking to secure rationale from suppliers of any increases.
About You
The successful candidate should have qualifications and proficiency in both Maths and English, as well as a background of of analysing and interpreting data.
- Has worked in a fast-paced environment within a large team for at least 1 year.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and ideally Power BI.
- Works to deadlines effectively.
- Passionate about food.

The Grocery Trading Assistant job is based in North West London and is paying £27,000 + Benefits according to your experience.
The working hours are Monday - Friday during office hours & it is a 35-hour working week.
