Account Manager (International Sales) - County Cork, Ireland
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to spearhead our growth in international sales from our office in County Cork, Ireland. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary in the range of €85,000 - €100,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Market Development: Uncover and develop new markets for our company's offerings. Conduct research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends.
Client Relationship Management: Forge and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Ensure exceptional customer service and address any concerns promptly.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales goals and expand market share. Monitor performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms with clients. Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery. Resolve any logistical challenges that may arise.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses. Leverage market trends and sales data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Teamwork: Work closely with internal teams (production, quality control, marketing) to align sales efforts with overall company strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
10 years of experience in international sales, ideally within chilled food
Experience with premium chilled food products (or a strong understanding of the industry) a plus.
Skills:
Strong grasp of export logistics and international trade regulations.
Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
Proven talent for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Proficiency in market research and sales strategy development.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM).
Travel:
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
