Technical Manager / Fruit / Kent

£50,000 + competitive package

Are you an experienced Technical Manager in the fresh produce sector? Have you supplied products to the retail market? Looking to join a dynamic, growing fresh produce business? If yes, we want to hear from you!

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-facing Technical Manager to join a fresh produce business undergoing significant investment and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all technical matters within your retailer customers.
  • Act as the liaison for customers.
  • Manage internal audits and host BRC and customer audits.
  • Oversee supplier management.
  • Ensure the business is fully compliant with all customer requirements and always audit-ready.
  • Handle an all-encompassing technical role covering suppliers, compliance, and customers.
  • Lead and drive forward the technical team.


Requirements:
  • Experience in working for a fresh produce business supplying retailers.
  • Alternatively, a Technologist ready to step into a Technical Manager role.
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Experience with BRC standards is essential.
