Job Details
Supplying the best quality of products, raw materials and ingredients, my client is a global solutions provider. The Customer Development Manager (Industrial Chemicals) will be responsible for the development of new business by the development of new opportunities and managing a few existing customers, creating an excellent customer experience.
The Role
The candidate that we are looking for should have an entrepreneurial and can-do approach to new business development with good communication and presentation skills. You should be a problem solver who likes to change and innovate. Your personality should be described as enterprising, enthusiastic and energetic. You are required to have accurate reporting skills with attention to detail and efficiency. Your method is characterised as solution and results-oriented, and you should have strong analytical skills. You will act as a full partner for your relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues. In addition to staying knowledgeable of any changes that could improve quality requirements for our customers. This is a combined hunting and farming role and therefore not for someone who wants to be an account manager, this area is ripe for development by the Customer Development Manager.
Personal Profile
Minimum 2 years relevant commercial experience selling within chemical distribution
Relevant technical knowledge of the industry and a broad knowledge of the industrial market
Fluent English, both spoken and written
Enjoys developing new business and builds strong relationships quickly

This is a home-based role, but UK travel to prospects will be required
