Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Harrogate
Salary: £45,000 - £47,000
Shift Pattern: Day Shifts, 6am - 6pm (5 days one week, 2 days the next week)

Job Description: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of our client's manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including mixers, conveyors, packaging machines, and automated control systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize production disruptions.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing a range of equipment, such as mixers, conveyors, packaging machines, and automated systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
