Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (7:30/8:00 am – 16:30/17:00 pm)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading company in the food industry. This role is crucial as you will be the only engineer on site, responsible for maintaining all equipment and systems. The company has a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on crop trolleys, hydraulic trolleys, vents, lights, filters, irrigation pumps and much more.
• General site maintenance, including electrical and mechanical tasks.
• Occasionally respond to on-call situations for major breakdowns (with compensatory time off, if called out).

Requirements:

• Experience in the food industry is highly desirable but not essential.
• 18th Edition qualification is a desirable.
• Strong background in engineering, with transferrable skills from fields.
• Ability to work independently and manage the maintenance needs of the site.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
