Food Safety & Compliance Manager

Preston

£35,000- £37,000 (Increase to £40,000 after a successful 3 month period) 

A true leader in the food manufacturing sector, committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance are on the look out for a motivated Compliance/Food Safety Manager to ensure the site meets all company, retailer, industry operational, and legal standards.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with company, retailer, industry, and legal standards.
  • Investigate complaints, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Managers to ensure overall compliance.
  • Communicate with site Managers to support audit processes.
  • Offer expertise on food safety compliance and quality.
  • Develop and deliver food safety and quality training.
  • Conduct internal GMP audits and prepare for external audits.
  • Conduct factory tours for customers on request.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
