Job Title: Engineer - Multi-Skilled


Location: Teesside

As a leading player in the FMCG industry, my client is dedicated to innovation, quality, and safety in all aspects of the operations. The business is currently seeking talented Multi-Skilled Engineer with a blend of Electrical and Mechanical skills to contribute to the current team.

Job Description:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the team by leveraging your expertise in Electrical and Mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will include Reactive Maintenance, Repairs, Commissioning, Line improvements, Projects etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting meticulous electrical and mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and external contractors to meet project deadlines effectively.
  • Utilizing your troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Adhering strictly to safety protocols and standards to uphold a secure work environment.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster skill development and teamwork.

    • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven track record in contracting roles within the FMCG sector.
  • Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and instrumentation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts as per project demands.
