Contract Type: Fixed Term (6 months)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, either Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday
Salary: Approximately £20,000 for the contract duration

We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician for a six-month fixed-term contract with one of our esteemed clients in Liverpool. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to important projects in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Record and analyze data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Assist in the development and validation of new methods and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and good laboratory practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment.  

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience as a lab technician in a manufacturing environment is essential. Experience in the food or chemical industries is highly desirable.
• Skills: Proficient in laboratory techniques and the use of standard lab equipment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Education: A relevant scientific qualification or equivalent experience.
• Availability: Must be able to work either a Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedule.
