A brand new role working with a business who are dedicated to producing high-quality, safe, and delicious food products.
Their commitment to excellence drives their operations, and they are looking for passionate and knowledgeable Quality Process and Compliance Technologist to join their Quality Control team!

As the Quality Process and Compliance Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in their products.
You will become a subject matter expert in ingredient functionality and formulation within the Quality Control department.
This position involves leading investigations into complaints and product failures, conducting tests on finished goods, and implementing corrective actions to address root causes.

Key duties:
- Develop a deep understanding of ingredient functionality and become the subject matter expert for ingredient and formulation in the QC department.
- Lead investigations for customer complaints and product failures, performing tests on finished goods to identify issues, presenting findings, and implementing corrective actions.
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough investigations into complaints and non-conformance issues, documenting findings and taking proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control tests and investigations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure their products consistently meet the highest standards.

- Proven experience in food safety, quality control, process or development or a similar role in the food industry specifically practical confectionary, ingredients or bakery and
- Knowledge of ingredient functionality and food formulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and quality assurance standards

Desierable:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
