Production Manager

Reed Food and FMCG are currently recruiting a Head of Production to join a fast-growing Food & FMCG Business in Bicester.

Our client is looking for someone who has Production Management experience, ideally in a Food Manufacturing or Restaurant environment. This role reports directly to the Operations Director and will play a massive part in the companies continued success, a really great opportunity for someone to make the role their own.



Job Title: Head of Production

Location: Bicester

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000



Responsibilities:

Ensure production schedule is completed is line with the agreed customer demand, budget and quality standards

In conjunction with Operations Director, develop, monitor and control operational performance metrics to ensure production is completed within the budget and to agreed client specification

Coordinate staff resources and raw materials to ensure production is carried out in a smooth and effective way daily and for new product launches

Ensure the production facility and daily operational compliance meet all relevant legal, technical accreditation and food legislation and hygiene levels



Person Specification

Confident in the use of CCP, HACCP and Salsa principles

Knowledge of all relevant food safety legislation (Food Safety Level 3)

Highly motivated, results orientated, and solution driven

Able to motivate and manage people with varying skill levels and relish the challenge of working in a growing and demanding kitchen production environment
