Technical Assistant

Reed Food and FMCG are currently recruiting a Technical Assistant to join a fast-growing Food & FMCG company in Bicester.

This is a great role for someone who is looking to get into the Food Industry as it will give you exposure to lots of different roles within the business. You will be assisting both the kitchen and technical teams, including managing suppliers, collating food safety documents and overseeing menu creation.



Job Title: Technical Assistant

Location: Bicester

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 Per Annum



Responsibilities:

To build and manage excellent supplier, goods in and chef relationships

Direct responsibility for completing numerous checks daily

Overseeing menu creation administration alongside the chefs and outer units

Food Safety Document collation and filing (hand to technical and when we move to digital system help implement this and be the lead in training on this)



Person Specification

Passion for quality food

Exceptional Communication skills between departments

Excellent IT Skills in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook,

Ability to work on multiple jobs at once
