About the Technical Assistant job
The purpose of your role will be to ensure that the business fully complies with all customer codes of practice and legal requirements that relate to the manufacture of food.
Key tasks
- Responsible for all food safety, technical matters relating to all operations.
- Maintain and continuously improve food safety & quality systems and support the production team.
- Oversee hygiene, housekeeping, product handling and production processing.
- Advising on technical, food quality and packaging regulations as required.
About You
- Food manufacturing experience as well as BRC.
- HACCP & food safety knowledge would be beneficial.
- Works effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- A driver’s license is essential due to site location.

The Technical Assistant job is based in North Yorkshire and is paying £25,000 - £28,000 according to your experience.
Benefits include private medical insurance, free parking and daily 3-course meals included.
The working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm with flexibility where required.
