Laboratory Technician

Job title: Compliance Laboratory Technician

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £27000 + overtime available

Shifts:
5 days per week (Sunday - Friday) - rotating shifts written for four weeks at a time
- Three shifts (5am-1.30pm | 8am-4.30pm | 1.30pm-10pm)
- No Saturdays.

Experience desired:
- Previous background within Food Quality or Production (Food Safety/Systems, HACCP, TACCP etc)
- Previous Laboratory experience
- Any auditing experience is a bonus!

Responsibilities:
- Calibration of machines, sampling, tasting, preparing production
- Working with technical team to report back on samples, issues, food safety and systems
- Production release
- Daily paperwork sign off and collection of lab results
- Conduct internal audits and report results
- Following up on non-conformities from internal/external audits
