Lab Assistant

Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a Quality Assurance Laboratory Assistant to join a Food Manufacturing company on a permanent basis

The role involves various different areas of testing of the production process of a Food product, ensuring the safety and quality level is maintained to the highest standard. You will also be responsible for providing effective technical support to the internal business and external customers.

This opportunity will require you to work at two sites, ability to travel between Enfield and Harlow is imperative, so is flexibility.

Location - Enfield / Harlow

Salary - £25,500 Per Annum

Job type - Permanent

Immediate Start


Experience required: No formal experience required, just a desire to work in a Food Manufacturing space.


Responsibilities:

To carry out tasks concerning Food Safety as and when required by the Technical Manager
Be responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and dispose of waste material in the appropriate way.
Ensure that all required tests are carried out on the wheat & flour so to establish quality.
