Are you an experienced Food Safety Manager with a broad food background across either a retail, foodservice or manufacturing environment?
Are you a motivated self-starter and an excellent team player? 

Main Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to ensure appropriate & adequate food safety and health & safety safeguards are in place, implemented and monitored, to protect people, customers and contractors; and to protect the brand reputation. 
This is achieved through, the effective development and delivery of high standards of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety.  The practical & consistent implementation of these standards and the drive for continuous improvement.
Review and utilise data systems that relate to Customer Safety incidents, to identify trends, emerging risks. Report monthly on any risks, trends and opportunities for improvement in safety performance. 
Review reported pest issues & undertake follow up visits where needed to support and resolve
Identification of business risk is a key aspect of the proactive work you will undertake and escalate as appropriate.

Key Skills Required:
Ideally a minimum of 5 years food safety management experience
Hold a recognised degree level qualification or equivalent in Food Safety
L4 Food Safety qualification and HACCP qualification
Health and Safety qualification not essential but desirable
Membership to recognised professional body desirable.
Formal leadership training / qualification desirable
Ability to effectively manage your workload to meet the reactive needs of the business in addition delivering proactive planned activities
A clear communicator with high standards of verbal and written communication and a recent track record of high performance and positive organisational impact
Ability to offer innovative solutions to challenges
