NPD Manager

Reed Food & FMCG are currently recruiting for an NPD Manager to join a RTE Food Manufacturing Business in West London.

This is the perfect opportunity for a Product Developer to step up into a management role or an existing manager to take on a new challenge in a fast-paced role within a great business.

Job Title: NPD Manager
Location: West London Area
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

Interpret customer briefs and present to internal & external stakeholder teams on concepts. To present new ideas with strong rationale for launch.

Plan factory trials in with factory team and delivery off line factory samples in a timely manner.

Ensure products developed are fit for purpose, working cross functionally to drive product feasibility and high-quality standards.

Work with site operational, procurement and commercial team prior to trialling on costings and feasibility of new products.

Person Specification

Experience must include the scale-up and launch of multi component products within a manufacturing environment as well as knowledge of product development, process and commercialisation. Project management, relationship building, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver the project on time

Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, having good food knowledge and passion as well as being numerate and analytical.

You are a passionate foodie with creative flair who loves keeping up with new trends and comfortable with recipe development
