This is an opportunity to join one of the largest food manufacturing companies in the UK as they go through a period of change and new direction.

The business has restructured somewhat, brought in new members of the SLT and are looking for a new Specifications Technologist to work closely with the on-site teams and lead the way with customer specs.

There is plenty of ongoing and upcoming NPD work, especially with the build up to Christmas, which makes it a critical time for the business. You’ll be working with some of the biggest retailers in the UK, including Tesco, M&S, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s & HelloFresh ensuring that the customer specs are completed on time on the relevant portals.

This will be an all-rounder position, which will include artwork approval, customer specs and taste panels.

You will be part of a team of two, joining someone who is new to the world of specs and as such will require your support and guidance in best practice.

Background?

You will need a background as a Specifications Technologist in the food manufacturing industry with experience in using customer portals.

This role is hybrid and will require 3 days in the office and 2 at home.
