Location: Rogerstone
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Panama Shift (7 days on, 7 days off within a 14-day period)

Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector, is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility, where your expertise will be vital to maintaining and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process optimisation and cost reduction.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.  

Essential Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment, with food production experience being highly desirable.
• Qualifications: Apprentice trained with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and electrical circuits. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
