About the Production Manager job

As the Production Manager, you'll be at the heart of operations, leading a dedicated team and contributing to strategic business decisions. Your role is not just about managing production—it's about shaping the future of the business. Key tasks

Shift and rota planning and wider team management where you will lead, motivate and develop the production team.
Creating weekly production plans through translating demand, as well as working with the internal team to create raw material forecasting and procurement requirements.
Work closely with Technical and other department heads as well as the MD to create a structured monthly operations cycle.
Create accurate weekly reports of key production metrics.

About You

The successful candidate shall have a strong track record in a similar production or operations role within an automated or semi-automated food manufacturing environment.

Excellent numerical literacy, good IT skills.
Demonstrable experience of productivity planning and management of strict cost controls.
Strong leadership skills and an excellent team player, willing to be hands on.
Ability to motivate and develop team members.
Resilience, integrity, and a strong work ethic.

The Production Manager job is based in North London and is paying to £56,000 according to your experience.

The business operates 3 shifts over 24 hours and the Production Manager hours will be flexible around this setup.
