Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday - Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing company based in Northwest London. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in quality or technical management within the UK food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the food manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external audits from regulatory bodies, ensuring all procedures meet legal and customer requirements.
• Lead and mentor the technical team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues that arise.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to maintain and improve product quality and ensure all technical specifications are met.  

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality or Technical Manager within the UK food manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
