Job Details

A new opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager for a fantastic food manufacturer has become available at our client based in North London.

Job Role
Lead and manage all supply chain and warehouse activities across the business while forming close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Lead the transformation of the supply chain and warehouse operation in line with or ahead of the demands of the business.

Responsibilities
•    To control all the stocks (raw materials, finished goods and factored goods) at site through effective management of the coldstores and stocks within; including stock held at 3PL
•    To plan effectively to ensure a constant supply of raw materials, finished manufactured goods 
and factored goods through a self-produced and published stock report to meet the requirements of the sales and production plan for the business
•    To manage the 24 hour warehouse operation including picking, loading, replenishment, stock 
rotation, goods in and collections
•    To investigate errors and stock discrepancies and implement changes to improve overall 
efficiencies
•    To control and maintain all warehouse equipment including forklifts and PPE
•    To order raw materials and factored goods to ensure on time delivery and meet the production 
plan and sales plan
•    To monitor and report on the effects of price variances on the business for all raw materials 
sourced and report on all usage variances
•    Manage all the raw materials and factored goods required by the company to meet the 
production and sales plans
•    Manage the efficiency and costs of import of goods using 3PL
•    Manage the efficiency and costs of 3PL including storage and transport aiming to 
reduce errors and maintain stock integrity
•    To set up, manage and own the stock control system, production planning system and all 
associated reporting systems
•    Ensure regular stock checks to maintain stock integrity and investigate discrepancies.    
•    Ensuring health and safety is a priority at all times

Personal Profile
•    Must have previous management experience in Supply Chain and Warehouse
•    Must have experience managing people
•    Must have experience in multi temp FMCG operations
•    Must have experience managing 3rd party storage, couriers and hauliers
•    PC literate with good Microsoft Excel knowledge
•    Good communicator through face to face, email and phone
•    Organised and systematic
•    Experienced working with MRP / ERP systems
•    Accurate and pragmatic
