Maintenance Engineer

Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer 

Location: Teesside

Salary: £44,000 - £48,797

Off the back of a multi-million pound investment they are looking for a new Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the team.

Your Responsibilities:

You'll handle plant breakdowns, ensuring high-quality fixes, and actively participate in changeover activities to meet customer demands. You'll identify and address root causes of machine breakdowns, conduct Asset Care inspections, and implement improvement projects based on data analysis. Sourcing machinery parts, executing planned maintenance, and enhancing safety standards will be part of your daily tasks.

Your Qualifications:

A time-served mechanical apprenticeship with an electrical multi-skilled conversion is desirable, along with experience with packaging machines in an FMCG environment. You need strong communication, team-working, and problem-solving skills, a conscientious attitude, and a safety-first mindset.

Shift Patterns:

You will be working on a 3 shift rotation which will include;

1 week of earlies (6am – 2pm)

1 week of PM’s (2pm – 10pm)

1 week of nights (10pm – 6am Sunday – Thursday)
