Are you experienced in food technical specification management and looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dedicated Food Specifications Manager to coordinate and deliver our client's food specifications, artwork, and associated systems. Your work will be pivotal in enhancing customer service, business reputation, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate production of food specifications.
• Collaborate with development, technical teams, and customer food technologists to agree on specifications.
• Liaise with customers to ensure specifications meet required standards.
• Coordinate and train team members in specification and artwork processes.
• Oversee technical aspects of the artwork process, collaborating with sales, development, purchasing teams, and external partners.
• Submit specifications to relevant bodies and respond to queries.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure strict adherence to company and legislative requirements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material waste and costs.
• Support the development of junior team members, ensuring a skilled next-generation workforce.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in food production specification management, ideally including M&S specifications.
• Strong knowledge of food law and labelling requirements.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene accreditation or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken), essential for health & safety and quality control purposes.
