The Company

We are working with a company that have grown to become one of the UK’s largest and most successful food businesses producing a plethora of products within the complex chilled arena. With their passion for food innovation and quality they are seeking a like-minded NPD Manager who can manage one of their key retail accounts.

The Role

Reporting to the NPD Controller, you’ll be part of the NPD team, managing the development and delivery of delectable dishes from concept to launch. With your eye on the latest food and ingredient trends you’ll lead and encourage the talents of NPD Chefs and Technologists to create culinary delights that consumers will love, from offering innovative range extensions to bringing brand new concepts to the table.

Working with Sales and Marketing teams you’ll continuously analyse the ever-changing food market to seek out potential opportunities for business growth, utilising your collective commercial insight to spot emerging trends to ensure your ranges are ahead of the game in the competitive chilled food market.

In this customer focused role, you’ll also work in partnership with one of the company’s retail clients as well as a growing food brand, influencing the direction of key NPD projects and presenting new range ideas to really excite and inspire key decision makers.

The Person

Suit a creative, tenacious and credible NPD Manager who has experience of working within complex product categories, or a Senior Development Technologist who is ready for the next step up. You'll have a proven track record of driving the development of new products where you have delivered persuasive presentations and established great relationships with the major multiples.
