About the Specifications Technologist job

The purpose of your role will be to work as a key member of the NPD team, you will be responsible for creating and gaining approval on all finished product specifications and artwork within the business.

Key tasks

Create and translate ingredient declarations into product passports, templates, or retailer formats.
Oversee and ensure timely completion of artwork, meeting key deadlines, as well as the generation of compliant pack copy for artwork.
Maintain accurate product specifications in company and retailer systems.
Assist with NPD/technical documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

About You

The successful candidate shall possess a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a food manufacturing environment and knowledge of retailer technical systems as well as a relevant food degree.

Competent with mathematics and manages time and workload efficiently.
An excellent communication at all levels both written and verbally.

More details

The Specifications Technologist job is based in Monmouthshire, South Wales and is paying to £35,000 per annum according to your experience. This is a permanent full time role, with 2 days per week working from home and a small element of travel.

The package includes 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), Pension with a total contribution of 8%, Life Insurance based on 2 x salary.

The working hours are Monday to Friday and is a 40-hour working week.
