Job title: Dispatch Manager

Location: Dungannon

Salary: £40k - £50k

Main duties and responsibilities.

• Adhere and work towards the company's core values.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
• Ensure the site is managed safely, and efficiently and is compliant with all legal requirements (Aligned to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Manage allocation of routes for employees & contractors
• Provide ‘hand over report’ to oncoming Shift Manager
• Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
• Maintain quality standards
• Ensure team productivity targets are achieved
• Review team performance against agreed goals (KPIs) through regular 1:1’s, identifying training needs and required support
• Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
• Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff
• Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training
• Ensure the security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a despatch, logistics, or supply chain role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience with food safety standards and regulations
