If you are an H&S practitioner looking for a stand out opportunity with an industry leader then this could be just what you have been looking for.   This organisation is synonymous with the UK Food Manufacturing industry and has an immediate need for proactive and driven NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety professional to help spearhead improvements across their large, modern manufacturing facility. This is a highly autonomous so represents a great challenge for an established H&S employee to grow into a bigger business.

Within this challenging and fast paced role you will report into the H&S Manager and be responsible for providing relevant expertise in regards to everything Safety, Health and Environmental ensuring Legislation and Best Practice are adhered to, and then moving these systems forward through continuous improvement.   A key aspect of this role will be to proactively develop and encourage a Behavioural Safety culture towards Health, Safety and Environmental welfare of all colleagues and identify suitable and sufficient SHE training advice and recommend suitable training resource to achieve this.

To be considered for this role you will be an existing Health & Safety Coordinator / H&S Advisor / HSE Officer, ideally holding a NEBOSH Certificate and have previous experience from within a fast paced and complex food industry which is a pre-requisite.  An understanding of ISO14001 and BRC accreditations would also be highly advantageous. A forward thinking individual you will be able to initiate and implement new policies and procedures and have a tenacious and determined personality.   You must be a confident self-starter with a genuine desire to succeed you will be an effortless communicator across all levels.
