The Role

To Head the Hygiene Team in managing the daily and nightly operation, taking ownership and accountability for meeting operational objectives and targets

Duties and responsibilities

:• Oversee all aspects of hygiene within the facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

• Coordinate and manage the hygiene team to ensure tasks are conducted efficiently and effectively. • Maintain audit and hygiene schedules, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.

• Lead the hygiene team in driving continual improvement initiatives to enhance hygiene practices and efficiency.

• Ensure the site meets the rigorous requirements for BRC and Customer standards.

• Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operations and uphold hygiene standards.

• Monitor and manage hygiene-related documentation and records.

Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience. (Preferably in Food) 
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure. 
  • Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.  
  • Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.  
  • Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DVLA requirements and 
  • any other vehicle requirements as specified by your manager. 
  • Support planning and managing the team’s output to ensure delivery of business, section and customer targets. 
  •  Carry out performance monitoring of team members on a daily basis and escalate concerns to operational Manager.
