Product Launch & Packaging Manager

The Role.
This role will manage the launch of new SKUs by coordinating activities across key functions such as Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Production. Additionally, the role will oversee packaging development, inventory management, and supplier coordination to ensure the timely delivery of cost-effective packaging materials, all while aligning with our objectives of packaging efficiency and sustainability.

People Profile.

• Experience in managing SKU launches, packaging development, and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong project Management
• Knowledge of packaging materials, supplier management, and sustainability practices.
• Familiarity with European packaging regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Accountabilities. 

• Manage product Launch & packaging activities.
• Establish and communicate key milestones, both internally and externally, for the packaging launch of new SKUs
• Coordinate across various departments (Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Production) to ensure a seamless process.
• Coordinate with agencies/suppliers for artwork development and packaging design
• Focus on continuous improvement in reducing packaging waste and automating processes
• Drive innovations in sustainable packaging.
• Keep management updated on market trends affecting packaging materials and costs.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring OTIF delivery and establishing supplier service-level agreements 
• Ensure compliance with European packaging waste contribution legislation.
• Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures for packaging operations.
