NPD Coordinator

Owing to the ongoing success of the business, an exciting position has arisen based at their head offices in London. The business seeks a passionate and self-motivated NPD professional to support the delivery of NPD from concept to launch.

A truly dynamic and forward thinking innovative business, they supply a diverse array of high quality products across ambient, chilled and frozen food categories to leading UK retailer and food services businesses.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage all Customer-led sourcing projects and support Project manager on artwork projects:

• Work closely with Buying, Technical team and designated Sales channel to quickly and successfully launch new products
• Manage project progression giving timely progress updates
• Manage risks highlighting and escalating blockages as necessary to avoid delay / issues
• Collaborate with broader team and internal customers to assess and prioritise activity, ensuring lower potential projects are quickly identified and cancelled
• Provide regular project performance updates
• Coordinate and contribute to cross-functional efforts to manage internal and external requirements and challenges, ensuring fast, efficient and effective resolution

Person Profile

• Knowledge of the UK food industry
• Experience of multi-tasking and working under pressure against tight deadlines
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
• Educated to degree level or above
• Numerate, literate, with intermediate IT skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to learn and adopt new processes and systems

You should be able to coordinate and manage cross-functional projects, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships internally and with key external contacts. You’ll have a strong analytical background with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence effectively at all levels.
