Dynamic Food manufacturing company looking for a Technical Manager for their site based in Warwickshire.  The successful candidate will ensure the quality and safety of food products by overseeing food safety and quality control systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and leading a team. 

Reporting to the Head of Technical, responsibilities for the role will include:

• Ensuring that quality, process, and food safety standards are maintained and promoted 
• Providing leadership to the site to improve due diligence, site performance, product quality, and continuous improvement. 
• Total responsibility for the implementation of all retailer requirements, BRC procedures, guidelines, and recommendations and for ensuring successful audits. 
• Internal Auditing: scheduling, completion, communication, review, trending. 
• Plan for and conduct customer and statutory audits and visits. 
• Lead the HACCP and TACCP teams. 
• Total responsibility for all aspects of the Quality System 
• Building customer relationships and exceed customer expectations 
• Collating daily, weekly & monthly KPI reports 

Essential / Desirable skills include:

• A Quality, Food Science, or Science Degree (or related discipline) is preferable 
• Extensive and proven management experience within a food manufacturing environment 
• Level 4 HACCP and Food Safety certificates 
• Lead Auditor experience
• Hands-on, highly visible and credible on the shop floor

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, normal office hours, based on-site in Warwickshire. The salary is £60k - £70k per annum plus benefits package.
